My name is Liz and I work full-time with students with Special Needs in our local high school. I have always wanted to write a blog, and I figured that since I love to bake (I only cook if I have to), that I would combine the two! I am totally new at photography but have an interest to learn, so I took my first photography course this Fall. So, bear with me as I learn the ropes of photographing food!
Growing up, I have great memories of my mom letting me take out the recipes books or scrap pieces of paper she’d have recipes written down on, and let me bake up a mess in the kitchen. Some things turned out, some things didn’t. All I can remember is that I had fun and enjoyed every minute of it.
Having three children of my own now, I would love to pass down the same great memories to them. I can always count on one of them to help me out in the kitchen or to be my official taste-testers. I hope that when they’re older and looking for a recipe for their family they can say, “I’ll call my mom, she has the perfect recipe for that”.
