I know summertime is all about BBQ’ing and picnics in the park and easy, no-bake desserts but I couldn’t resist this Blueberry Banana Bread recipe. I had two containers full of fresh blueberries and I always have a ton of frozen bananas in the freezer so this recipe was a no-brainer. I enlisted the help of my 10 year old son and I think he did a pretty good job!
As a Life Made Delicious Ambassador I had a great time going through their website to find some inspiring recipes for this post. I wanted to make Blueberry Lemonade Coolers but I didn’t have any lemonade concentrate. Then I thought about making the Pina Colada Frozen Desserts but I was, unfortunately, out of ice cream. The next thing that really caught my eye was the Blueberry Pudding Pie. I love pies and I had all the ingredients but, if I can be honest here, I was just too lazy to make the crust. I know I could have went out and bought a pre-made crust but I was obviously trying to avoid going to the grocery store. In the end, I’m glad I made this Blueberry Banana Bread. It was delicious!
If you’re anything like me you like to slather butter on your bread. That’s just what I did when I took this bread out of the oven. I let in cool a bit and then sliced it up and slathered on the butter. I’ve got my kids hooked on it too! It just makes it taste that much more delicious. Hope you enjoy!
